The Movie Channel and Encore Free in Dish NetwrokAt 250. I get access to more networks . Encore Westerns made me “go for the gold” in the first place. So now, when I turn on my TV, I have several stations playing feature length films – without commercial interruption – for The Movie Channel and Encore.
There are “movie channels” included in my package, all of which present programming 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week. I like having that access. I enjoy knowing that, when I channel-surf, I can go on and on and on until I find something that appeals to me. Of course, I also know that what appeals to me can be found in a handful of channels that I watch most of the time.
Dish Network take us to war
History HD and Military Channel in HD on Dish Network take us to war. War movies are the ultimate in action cinema. Like most males everywhere, I like them … make that, love them. There isn’t a war movie I haven’t seen … dating way, way back to “All Quiet on the Western Front,” one of the earliest “talking” movies.
With rare exception, war films are packed with exciting action sequences … high drama … good guys and bad guys … lots of explosions … even compelling story lines. read more »
National Geographic on Dish Network Teaches not numbs. This is a TV format that is worthy of respect and the time it takes to watch an entire show unfold. This format, generally presented by National Geographic, follows the daily lives of animals in the wild. This is truly fascinating TV – educational and very entertaining, absorbing and often exciting – words from an encyclopedia that come “thrillingly” to life. read more »

Dish Network News MSNBC or FOX take your pick But, the best option I have, the one I enjoy more than any other is the non-stop access to news and information available to me as a subscriber to a TV programming service that gives me an almost unlimited menu of TV shows that I can watch and enjoy, including many around-the-clock, “all news-all the time” networks. read more »
Dish Network TV Promotions have always understood that a large part of their audience is made up of children. So, from the very beginning, part of every network’s programming was devoted to the 10-year-old-and-under set.
It was in the 1960s that a new show emerged that, over time, became even more popular. It featured a band of lovable puppets known as “Muppets” and included such endearing characters as “Miss Piggy,” “Kermit the Frog” and the gruff, but lovable “Oscar the Grouch.” read more »
Many people like Dish Network TV. There are lots of reasons for this, as well. Monthly fees are reasonable, in most cases. Services are extensive (lots of programming and lots of advanced technical features, too) and customer support is usually first rate.
There are lots of good choices available for fulfilling the home entertainment needs of today’s TV viewers. Some people opt for Cable television providers because it enables them to “bundle” services that include the use of their computer and their land-line telephone, as well, all for one monthly fee. read more »
Dish Network TV … it’s never Boring. Ask most subscribers to Satellite programming providers what they think of the services they receive and the answer is almost always the same: “I like them.”
It’s no wonder that they enjoy the services. As is probably true for subscribers to Cable TV and for Direct TV, as well, Satellite TV (or Dish Network) subscribers enjoy access to virtually unlimited programming options. It wasn’t always that way, of course. read more »
as Dish Network is changing the way People Watch TV
3-D PPV is coming as Dish Network is changing the way People Watch TV. There was a time when TV technology was not very sophisticated; when people who owned televisions were happy just to get a picture into their living rooms.
There were no sophisticated features … no chance to improve picture quality (reception was often accompanied by “snow”)… none of the amazing options that many TV viewers enjoy today. read more »
