Dish Network customers watched the emmys on CBS. Neil Patrick Harris, star of the CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother," hosted the live broadcast and kicked things off with a comic song and dance called "Put down the Remote" that asked viewers to resist switching channels or go online. read more »

Local Network on Dish Netwrok CBSwill air Big Brother. Jordan Lloyd, the goofy 22-year-old waitress from Matthews, N.C was served the $500,000 grand prize on Big Brother 11.

Jordan was up against Natalie Martinez, the scheming 24-year-old college graduate from Gilbert, Ariz. Jordan received five votes from the show's seven-member jury, do to and expulsion of one of the other house guest earlier in the season, the votes included viewer votes as the possibly tie-breaking seventh pick for the first time. Jordan, in her smartest move of the game, spent most of the season aligned with and romantically linked to the 31-year-old advertising salesman Jeff Schroeder. read more »

Dish Network offers MTV VMA Nominees this year’s MTV Video Music Awards will take place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City . Surprisingly, comedian Russell Brand will be hosting for the second time in a row, even after all the backlash MTV received after last year’s show.

Disney has long been a blockbuster brand with girls thanks to characters such as "Hannah Montana," "Cinderella" and "Snow White”, and every kind of random princess you can think of, but has struggled to achieve the same kind of success with boys. read more »

Fuse on Dish Network announced the Lead guitarist and songwriter Noel Gallagher has quit Oasis, according to a statement he posted Friday night on the band's website. Oasis a popular british rock band, best known for the hits "Wonderwall" and "Champagne Supernova", was founded in 1991 by it's two front men Noel and Liem Gallagher. read more »

U-Verse Unavailable

An unnamed 75-year-old widow says AT&T called her to offer their new U-Verse service with bundled TV, Internet and phone. She signed up, only to receive a phone call letting her know that the TV service wasn't available in her area yet. So why would they call her to offer her the service if it is not in her are?  Dish Network always on as Time Warner Drops LA Dodgers Game  Do you love Baseball? Do you love Baseball so much you don't want to miss a second of any game? If you have Time Warner Cable you seem to always miss the best parts of your baseball game. While in the ninth inning, bases loaded, and your favorite player is up, he needs to hit a grand slam to win the game, he swings and...... you TV screen freezes. 54 seconds.

  That's how much of the LA Dodgers game Time Warner cable customers missed Wednesday night. Not a big deal right? Well except here's what happened in those 54 seconds: Manny Ramirez, hit a pinch hit grand slam, into the part of Dodger Stadium called Mannywood, to win the game. Time Warner customers experienced a frozen screen followed by back to back commercials.

 The game picked back up as Manny Ramirez was waving from the dugout, and the crowd was still going crazy as the LA Dodgers won the game. Time Warner spokesman said that what occurred was an "inadvertent glitch". 

 Thats one big "inadvertent glitch"! What if that was the World Series. Time Warner also said customer service reps had gotten many calls from angry viewers

After 2010 season

After 60 seasons in the Dodger broadcast booth, Vin Scully is says next year will be his last.

 The announcement shook Dodger fans. For decades Scully has worked in the booth alone, creating a great atmosphere and a connection between himself and his fans watching on FSN. When the team first moved from Brooklyn in 1958, tens of thousands of fans would tune their new radios to games that were being played at the Los Angeles Coliseum to listen to Vin. Scully has called everything there is to in the MLB, perfect games, no-hitters and no to mention Hank Aaron’s 715th home run.

 Sometimes he would not say a word for almost three minutes letting the noise of the crowd tell the story. He is also credited with coaxing Kirk Gibson out on the air, during Game 1 of the 1988 World Series and into the batter's box for a huge home run. Vin Scully has been voted Most Valuable Dodger many times. The list of his honors goes on and on and on.
