Ordering Pay-Per-View Without A Phone Line
Can you purchase DISH Network Pay–Per–View movies and events if I do not have a phone line connected to your receiver? The answer is YES!
DISH Network provides several options for customers who do not have access to a phone jack:
- Telephone Automated System (1–877–DISH–PPV or 1–877–347–4778)
- Customer Service at 1-888-686-2388
- Mobile Service
Ordering online is the most popular way to order Pay–Per–View movies and events. It works exactly the same as the Telephone Automated System except you do not have to call in. The movie or event that you order will be broadcast to all receivers in your home.
The Telephone Automated System is designed for customers who are unable to have their receiver consistently connected to a phone line, but do not move around. There is an extra charge of $1.00 per transaction with this option, which is added on to your bill. Simply call 1–877–DISH–PPV (347–4778) and select your program from the menu options. When you order through the Telephone Automated System, events are broadcast to all receivers in your home.
You can call DISH Network's Customer Support Center at 1-888-686-2388 and one of their representatives can order a Pay–Per–View movie or event for you. There is an additional $5.00 charge for ordering a Pay–Per–View (sports packages are excluded) through a representative.
Mobile Service is for people on the go, such as truck drivers and RV owners. You can order up to nine movies before your smart card becomes full. Once your smart card becomes full you will need to connect your receiver to a phone line in order to clear the purchases. This service is $20.00 per year (not available monthly), and is only available on one receiver per account.
